This is an email that I just sent to a client
thought you might find it useful.
The X’s are intentional to protect my clients niche.
Kris,
This is step 1
Let’s focus on one campaign.
You need to decide how many letters you want to send.
One of the ways to send less and get more response is to send lumpy mail.
You put something in the envelope that they can feel curiosity will make them
open it.
You could plan on 4 to 7, but we could write them as we measure response.
Writing a sales letter is no different than making a sales presentation in person.
It’s just salesmanship in print, so let’s keep it simple.
The first thing you have to establish is who is the target market?
XXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXX, XXXXX, XXXXXX, owners, buyer, sellers?
The next thing you need to know is what I call the MWR, Most Wanted Results.
What are you trying to do with this campaign?
What do you want to happen after the prospect reads it?
Focusing on one of the following,
XXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXX, XXXXX, XXXXXX, owners, buyer, sellers?
What is the major problem your target prospect has?
What is the most nagging question he has?
This is your homework, once you respond we will move on.
If you need help write or call..

I’ll post these as I go through this exercise with this client.
Now go sell something,
